Through the representation of individual clients, the firm strives to:

• challenge wrongdoing by corporations, individuals and government agencies
• resolve clients’ legal problems practically, quickly and efficiently
• protect the values and traditions of the Navajo communities we serve
• provide effective advocacy for our clients in federal, state and tribal courts and before government agencies
• promote knowledge and understanding of the law, legal systems and the legal rights of members of the client community

Most of the work of the firm is litigation of claims for money damages. Such cases are generally handled on a contingent fee basis, with attorney fees as a percentage of the recovery, computed before deduction of costs. Clients are responsible for paying the expenses of the litigation.

Much of the firm's litigation arises from injuries, on the job, in motor vehicles or on the premises of others. An injury can have a huge impact on the personal and financial health of the victim and his or her family. The process of litigating a serious claim can be difficult and confusing. We try to resolve claims as quickly as possible, and to help our clients understand the procedure and make the right decisions about their cases. We are experienced in handling appeals, and can pursue all practical steps to get the best result for a client.

Past successes cannot be an assurance of future success because each case must be decided on its own merits.
